Broader product opportunity

With targeted modifications to its cultivation and processing system, WRS expects its production capability, over time, to support selected additional algae-derived products. Any additional product will require separate technical, commercial and investment assessment. This reinforces WRS as a scalable algae production platform, rather than a single-product business.

Scale-up model

WRS’s scale-up strategy is based on replication rather than redesign. Beginning with a 20-hectare commercial operation and with government permits already obtained,  expanding through direct duplication into a larger approximately 200-hectare commercial operation. 

Processing and quality systems

WRS intends to establish the specifications, analytical records, traceability systems and quality documentation required for international customer approval and commercial supply.

Natural Beta-Carotene Oil Suspension (30%)

WRS intends initially to produce a natural beta-carotene oil suspension containing approximately 30% beta-carotene, suitable for direct use in softgels, emulsions and liquid applications, or as a base for further processing into beadlets, powders and cold-water-soluble formats.
